We use ImageOverGlobe technology for the purpose of rapid transfer of acquired medical images to our mobile devices, when not being present in the hospital. Image Over Globe provides us the ability to see DICOM image wherever being located in the world – in practically real time. For us today it is practically no longer possible to even think of images and treatment if not having Image Over Globe technology in place. This technology saves lives of our patients by giving us the opportunity to see the imaging data and decide upon the treatment management in real time.

International Expert
I got acquainted with the ImageOverGlobe 3,5 years ago, and soon after realised the fantastic potential of this innovative image transfer system, which can display DICOM images on a PC, laptop and/or any smartphone, connected to the Internet, everywhere in the world. Furthermore, it also provides a platform for a discussion between the referring physician and the radiologist, or between a radiologist on call and a senior consultant outside the hospital, to decide the most appropriate therapeutic option for the patient. The system is very quick, safe, with all the patient data being encrypted, and reliable. I’m traveling a lot, and the IOG allows me to analyse images sent to me from all hospitals and colleagues I’m cooperating with, which makes my life easier, and the patients’ safer.

Image Over Globe is a fantastic tool by which we are able to quickly transfer high quality images between physicians in a safe and easy way. The possibility for instant on-line communication while reviewing a case makes this system completely interactive, which is a tremendous help in reaching a conclusion, not least in the acute setting. In the later stages, follow-up scans can be easily evaluated and compared with previous investigations adding quality assurance and improvement for our patients.
